The Short Version
Elastic Face does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking of users. Your unlocked faces and settings are stored only on your device. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, configured for child-directed treatment (G-rated content only, no personalized targeting).
1. Who We Are
Elastic Face ("the app", "we", "our") is a casual mobile game published by YOUNESS HARNAFI. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app does and does not collect when you use it on iOS or Android.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
- Account credentials of any kind (the app has no sign-in)
- Location data
- Photos, contacts, or device files
- Microphone or camera input
- App usage analytics or crash reports
- Behavioral or interest profiles
The app has no servers, no databases, and no telemetry of its own.
3. Data Stored Only on Your Device
The app saves the following information locally so your progress persists between sessions. This data never leaves your device:
- Unlocked face IDs — which of the 100 faces you have unlocked through gameplay
- Sound preference — whether you have sound effects enabled
- Haptics preference — whether you have vibration feedback enabled
This data is stored using the operating system's standard preferences storage (Android SharedPreferences, iOS UserDefaults). You can clear it at any time using the "Reset Progress" option in the app's Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
4. Advertising
Elastic Face is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob is the only third-party service used by the app. To respect children and families, we configure AdMob with the following settings:
- Tag for child-directed treatment: enabled
- Maximum ad content rating: G (general audiences only)
- Non-personalized ads: enabled by default
This configuration follows Google's COPPA and Designed for Families compliance guidance. AdMob may collect a limited set of non-personal device signals (device type, IP address, ad-request metadata) to deliver and measure ads. AdMob does not build behavioral profiles on users when child-directed treatment is enabled.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Elastic Face is designed to be safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from any user, it is fully compliant with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations, including the EU GDPR-K and the UK Age-Appropriate Design Code.
Specifically:
- No personal information is collected from anyone, including children
- No registration, sign-in, or parental consent is required to use the app
- All advertising is filtered to G-rated, non-personalized content
- The app contains no in-app purchases, no chat, no user-to-user communication, and no external links to social media

6. Permissions the App Requests
The app requests only the minimum permissions needed to function:
- Internet access — required only for AdMob to fetch and display ads. The game itself plays fully offline.
- Vibration — for tactile feedback during gameplay (optional, can be disabled in Settings)
The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, calendar, or any other sensitive data.
7. Your Rights
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing about you for us to access, correct, or delete on a server. You retain full control over the on-device data described in Section 3:
- Reset progress: tap Settings → Reset Progress in the app
- Disable sounds or vibration: tap Settings → Sound / Haptics
- Delete all app data: uninstall the app from your device
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws granting rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection may exercise those rights at any time by contacting us. Because we hold no personal data, most requests will be answered confirming that no data exists.
8. Data Retention
We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any. On-device data persists only as long as the app remains installed and is removed when the user uninstalls or resets progress.
9. International Users
Elastic Face is available worldwide. The app does not transfer personal data across borders because it does not collect personal data. Ads served by Google AdMob may be delivered from Google's global infrastructure subject to Google's own privacy policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting how data is handled will be highlighted. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
